Time seems to move more quickly now that work has picked up a bit and I’m forced to make more thoughtful decisions about how I spend my time. The reading pace has definitely slowed, but I’m currently being very emotionally destroyed by Ocean Vuong’s On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous. I hope to write about it a bit more when I’m done. Returning to full time work has been mostly rewarding—it’s nice to be confronted with big, complex problems again. Even though I’m regularly brain drained, I feel like I’m learning a lot and challenging myself to think through issues on a level that I used to find intimidating.

I’ve had quite a few intense but meaningful discussions with friends the past week about self-reflection. Here are some of my favorite questions from those conversations—if you’d like to share, shoot me your answers!

What are you actively trying to change about yourself?

When was the first time you experienced a sense of belonging? When was the last time?

How are you working on confronting your fears?
