quick updates

Squarespace tells me I’ve had this draft of images sitting here since March 12th, so I figured I should post them. This year is going by really quickly—I can’t believe it’s mid-May already. I turned 26 a few weeks ago, which was spent with a little vegan food tour of Los Angeles (Sestina in Culver City has the best pizza and pasta). Other life updates include:

• Heading up the coast to Seattle to stay for the summer

  • Leaving in about a month, will stop through Redding, Sacramento, Crater Lake, Columbia River Gorge, and Olympic National Park

  • Weekend trips to North Cascades National Park and hopefully Mt Rainier!

• Will be traversing the east coast by train in September after spending a week in Minnesota

  • Stops include Boston, Acadia National Park, New York, and DC

• Bought an All-City Zig Zag on Facebook Marketplace and looking forward to some beautiful rides through the PNW. I also learned how to covert to tubeless riding, which was messy but now pretty sweet

• I made my first self-patterned backpack — a Dyneema packable rolltop bag. It’s pretty floppy and I’m not sure that the Dyneema weight I had was appropriate for a backpack, but it was fun to make nonetheless

• I was a finalist for Lael Wilcox’s Alaska bike scholarship which was pretty wild

• The album cover I shot for Amber Liu last year is finally out in the world

• I’ve almost hit a 600 day Duolingo streak!
