Took a little road trip out to Joshua Tree this weekend, hiked Ryan Mountain, and acquired a National Park Pass! Joshua Tree holds a special place in my heart—there’s something very magical about it’s pink and gold sunsets and unique landscape. There’s also amazing vegan peach pie out there and surprisingly good seitan burgers (Boo’s Organic Oven and Crossroads Cafe). Film photos pending, but here are some cell phone / Fujifilm shots in the meantime.
Stayed a little RV out in the desert. Not sure how I feel about RV life
Sprouting a Joshua Tree on top of Ryan Mountain
Swung by SoCal Food Fest on the way back home — always crazy looking back on how far the vegan food scene has come (and sometimes…how it hasn’t come far at all…). This was fried enoki and sweet sauce.
